LOST
Lost forever in the darkness of life
Want to cry but it will be no help
Emotions penetrate body like knife
Erasing and tearing the guiding map.
You look in the darkness,
Straining your eyes,
You search for the warmth
In deep cold blue skies;
You search for the simple
In tangle of ropes
And try to maintain
Your weak dying hopes.
Hey, God! Are you there?
I need some assistance!
But stars only stare
In silent resistance.
I look at the map
And the rain slowly scrambles
The streets and the parks
Into watery shambles.
I pull and it tears
And falls in the mud.
The water then washes
It down the duct.
The darkness envelops
The soul that's done
And mind then scrambles
With warmth of the stone.

BE AWARE
I compare
today.
I declare
tomorrow.
And for somebody's death
I do not possess sorrow.
Beyond human existence
Beyond instinct's resistance
Come I forward tonight
Into light!
So beware of passion
Be aware of reason
Do not follow the fashion
Do not fear the treason.
Light your brain:
Not your face.
Do not strain
For your race.
Only race
Is yourself
Only face
Is the shelf
Where answer
To truth
Lies untangled
And smooth.
God is not in the sky
He is not in the church
But he will never die
As you do your research.
Find the answer to life
And you will find god
For the god is the strife
Of the mind and sod.
Sod of life
-- the resistance
The unwilling
Existence.
Have the right
In the sight
Have the might
In the night.
Darkness blows
As it goes
But you walk
As it snows.
See the light of the right --
and rejoice!
