Song Bird Coffee and Music at Honey Hollow
On Friday, February 7 from 7:00 9:00 p.m. Bucks County Audubon Society
presents an evening of live music and shade grown coffee at the Audubon
Visitor Center, a converted barn on the grounds of the Honey Hollow
Environmental Education Center. Musicians from the Bucks County Folk Song
Society will perform. Fee is $6 per adult. The program is held at the Bucks
County Audubon Visitor Center located at 2877 Creamery Road, off Rt. 263 in
Solebury, two miles east of Peddler's Village. Call the Bucks County Audubon
Society for further information at (215) 297-5880. Guests are asked to bring
a mug to enjoy the shade grown coffee provided. The Bucks County Audubon
Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving wildlife,
promoting awareness of environmental problems, educating the community about

The Seventh Annual Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival will take
place during the weekend of February 7 - 9, 2003. Once again, the twin river
towns of New Hope and Lambertville will present 3 days of non-stop music and
entertainment for everyone. Weekend highlights include Live Ice Carving
Demonstrations... Annual Chili Cook-Off at the River Horse Brewing
Company... Competition with 3 Philadelphia Mummers String Bands...Winter
Historic Walking Tours... Children's Scavenger Hunt ... Family
entertainment... SnowFolk Art Display...Bed k Breakfast Tours...One Mile
Fun, Walk Run...and more. The Festival kicks-off on Friday night with a live
concert featuring Annie Haslam, former lead singer of the progressive rock
band known as "Renaissance". Annie, with her five piece band will perform
songs from the past and present. General admission tickets are $25.00. VIP
tickets ($60.00) include a Pre-Concert Reception with seats in the first 8
rows of the Theater.

"Whales" Subject of Bucks County Audubon Society Meeting
The Bucks County Audubon Society presents "Whales" on Tuesday, February 11
at 7:30 p.m. at the Honey Hollow Environmental Education Visitor Center.
Marlin Corn, naturalist from the Churchville Nature Center, will lead guests
on a visual exploration of the mysterious watery world of the whales of
North America. This is a regularly scheduled meeting of the Bucks County
Audubon Society.
A $3.00 donation is requested. Light refreshments will be served. The

Audubon offers Teacher Naturalist Training
Friday, February 14 Bucks County Audubon Society offers the first in a
series of training sessions for potential Audubon Teacher Naturalists at the
Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Classes continue every Friday through March 14. Adults interested in working
with school children at the center should register before February 7 by
calling the Education Office at 215-297-0309. There is no fee for the
training. Participants will be introduced to techniques for sharing the
wonders of the environment with groups of students who visit the Honey
Hollow Environmental Education Center.
Upon completion of instruction, participants with enthusiasm and flexibility
may be asked to join the paid staff of the Bucks County Audubon Society to
teach environmental education to school students. The program begins at the

"Great Backyard Bird Count" at Honey Hollow
Bucks County Audubon Society invites area bird enthusiasts to participate in
the Great Backyard Bird Count with the staff at the Honey Hollow
Environmental Education Center on Saturday, February 15 from 10:00 a.m. to
12:00 p.m.

14 to register free for a place at the bird blind or the pond to identify
and record birds for this citizen science project. Information collected
will be submitted via the internet to www.birdsource.cornell.edu. Registered

Junior Explorers Search Audubonıs Honey Hollow for Nature Stories
Thursday, February 20, Bucks County Audubon Society offers "Animals in
Winter" one of a series of nature programs for Junior Explorers,
kindergarten through second grade. Participants will meet from 4:00-5:30
p.m. at the Audubon Visitor Center to find out how animals handle the cold.
Registration is required as space is limited. Fee for children only
(non-members), $8; BCAS members, $6. Payment is requested at the time of

On February 22, 2003 the Roxey Ballet Company of Lambertville will hold
company auditions for itıs 2003/2004 season. Roxey Ballet is currently
offering professional and apprentice contracts for a 30+ week professional
contract. Dancers contracts will begin in September of 2003. Contracts will
be awarded in May of 2003. RBC season will include but not limited to
Dracula, Nutcracker, Pied Piper of Hamlin, Peter and the Wolf, Cinderella,
