Tenth Annual Outdoor Festival Brings Art to New Hope
The New Hope Chamber of Commerce announces the 10th Annual New Hope Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival. The juried Art Show will be held on October 4 & 5 from 11AM to 6PM on Saturday and 11AM to 5PM on Sunday. Both days promise an exciting and extensive mix of fine art, unique crafts and photography by top artists from all parts of the United States. All participating artists are selected by a panel of five jurors who view slides submitted by each artist of their work. All work is judged and only those with the highest scores are
accepted into the show. This year will feature over 150 artists displaying fine art; including oils, pastels, watercolors, pen and ink, acrylics, linocuts and photography. Fine handcrafted items include silver and gold jewelry, stoneware and ceramics, tiles, Batik and wearable art, stained glass, woodworking, metal sculpture and furniture. With New Hope's long history as an artist colony and it's ideal location along the banks of the Delaware River and Canal, it is no wonder the New Hope Show is fast becoming a very popular one drawing artists from not only the Tri-State area, but from across the country. The Festival will spread throughout downtown New Hope. Some streets will be closed to traffic allowing everyone the opportunity to wander at their leisure enjoying the art as well as the town and its many unique galleries and shops. There are plenty of parking lots available both in town and on the edge of town for easy parking. There will be live music both days with acoustic guitarist Russell Donnellon playing 11-5PM on North Main St.
This show is made possible by our generous sponsors. We thank National Bank and Trust of Newtown, Vox Vodka and Banko Distributors in conjunction with Amsted Light and Rolling Rock.
The show is free to the public. For information please call 215-862-5880  newhopecoc1@aol.com
