The Washington Crossing Bridge will close nights through mid-June for repairs to replace the bridge's expansion joints.  It will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic 12 pm to 6 am Sunday night through Friday morning.  It will remain open Friday and Saturday nights.

The mules are back pulling the barges along the canal in New Hope. Guides tell the history of the canal and there are four scheduled departures a day: 12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm and 4pm. 215.862.0758.

A flood information meeting for residents of flooded communities in Bucks Co. is being held at the Yardley Community Center on Main Street at 7:30 pm. State Rep. David Steil, together with experts on long-term flood mitigation, will discuss community-wide solutions such as raising River Road, installing valves on storm drains to keep water from backing up and building retaining walls along area creeks. 215.269.5081.

Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans present the 20th Annual Donald W. Jones Flag Memorial. Over 58,000 flags, each placed in the ground by someone who cares. One flag for every American soldier killed or missing in action in Vietnam. The memorial is in the shape and exact size of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.
