This show is open to all Mini Coopers and Mgs and there are no entry fees or pre-registration required. Also, there will be a tailgate competition with great prizes. The categories are "Most Elegant," "Down-home Country," "Best Family," and "Polo Pre-1900's." Judging begins at 2:30 p.m. Finally, there will be the Mini Cooper Cup, a United States Polo Association tournament. The gate opens at 1:00 p.m., and the game begins at 2:00 p.m. There is a $5.00 fee admission per car. Bucks County Audubon Society (BCAS) will hold its sixth annual Barns of Distinction Tour on Saturday, July 23, 2005 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Barn expert, Jeffrey Marshall of Heritage Conservancy will give a presentation prior to the tour on Saturday morning, July 23, at 9:00 p.m., at the BCAS Visitor Center, 2877 Creamery Road, Solebury, PA. The self-guided tour features seven barns, each historic
structure a symbol of the region’s agricultural heritage. The buildings are working barns used for agricultural purposes or have been adapted as living spaces and for other uses. Tickets for the Saturday Tour are $20. Combination tickets that include the lecture, light refreshments, and the Tour are $30. Children under 12, $5 admitted to the tour when accompanied by an adult. make New Hope a “Little Paris on the Delaware”. Enjoy the feel of a European Open Air Market where merchants and music are nestled next to food stands serving a variety of culinary treats. The event will feature wine from area vineyards including Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Rushland Ridge Winery, Bucks Country Winery. Some of the area’s finest chefs and restaurants will be preparing food for the evening including Paella by Jim Hamilton of Hamilton’s Grill Room, Whole Grilled Fish by Dish Catering, a variety of salads by Pam Retseck, crudite and vegetarian dishes by Kathy Bates and Pam Hueber, Buttered Radishes by Melissa Hamilton, Slow Roasted Fresh Ham by John Larsen of John & Peter’s with Pomme Frites by Michael Danchak, Shrimp prepared by Occasions, a Whole Spit-Roasted Pig by Ryan Jameson, a Pasta Station by Pineville Tavern, Pulled Pork by Havana, as well as offerings from Triumph Restaurant & Brewery, Thomas Sweet and Bill Gill. Music will be provided by strolling guitarist Eli and Katia McGuirk will have handcrafted tiles for sale. Passiflora will have flower stand and The Marquis of DeBris Jeffrey Hamilton will have antique posters and crockery for sale. The event will take place under tents at Labor & Logistics Management at Union Square, West Bridge Street in New Hope. Tickets for the evening festivities are $35 in advance and $45 at the door.
