Dr. Bryna Donnelly, Assistant Professor of Ecology at Delaware Valley College will discuss gardening and planting practices that can entice esthetically pleasing and beneficial insects to your landscapes. Planting strategies and birdhouse placement to increase your bird population and potentially attract migratory species will also be covered. The Gardening for Life Spring Lecture Series is intended to enhance the gardening community’s awareness, understanding and sense of stewardship of the environment by providing alternative gardening practices that are sustainable and work with nature.
