Working with a variety of still-life, photographs and nature, students will improve their drawing and painting skills. Students may work in charcoal, pastels, oil, acrylic or watercolor. The instructor gives individual guidance to each student in a relaxed and beautiful setting. Students supply own materials. Beginners: Bring news print pad and charcoal to first class. The Bucks County Audubon Society presents a free public program, “The Pribilofs – Alaska’s Puffin Paradise”, November 14, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center. Explore the natural treasures of Alaska with Professor Jeffrey Hall. From the mainland to a tiny island in the Bering Sea, we’ll find the world’s largest fur seal colony, along with a wealth of nesting seabirds: fulmars, cormorants, kittiwakes, alcids, murres, auklets and of course – puffins! Wednesday 10:00 – 11:30 am and Thursday 1:00 – 2:30 pm Bucks County Audubon Society presents a Kindergarten enrichment program “Fall!” Come learn about the changes happening to plants and animals as we explore outside. Registration is requested by November 14, 2006 for children enrolled in kindergarten. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fees for children only are non-members $12 per child, BCAS members $10 per child. Payment is required at the time of registration. Space is limited. The program begins at the Audubon Visitor Center at Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center located at 2877 Creamery Road, Solebury. “Fall” is one of a series of Kindergarten programs designed to enrich your child’s kindergarten experience.
