The Gallows Run Watershed Assn. will conduct a cleanup of the Gallows Run and Lynn Island from 9 to 1 pm. DCNR will provide canoes and volunteers are needed to collect debris left by the 2006 flooding of the river. Volunteers meet at the American Grill Restaurant, Kintnersville.

The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce hosts the official New Hope Holiday Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 30, 2008, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Activities take place in front of the Logan Inn and the historic Parry Mansion, which will be open for tours, on the corner of West Ferry and Main Streets.
