New Hope was a wonderful place to grow up and I think of it often. I have managed to find some of my child hood friends, Deb Welter, Karyl Cleary and Karen Coffee. Comment: Hi! I am going to be relocating to the north by next spring (hopefully!) and a friend in PA told me about New Hope. I restore fine art, as well as hand finishing frames (gilding and painting, including some faux finishes), coloring prints and painting French mats. I am trying to figure out how in the world (and WHO as well) to contact galleries and/or shop owners that may be interested in speaking with me about my services. (help!!) I really would like to have employment lined up and secured BEFORE I move! I have scanned my restoration prtfolio for anyone interested. I am not looking just in the New Hope area. I'm not too picky, I think anywhere in PA, NJ or NY will do! (I'm not familiar with it up there, and have to rely on the suggestions of friends already there) Can anyone help?! Thanks so much!! Comment: I absolutely love this place, I have visited New Hope in every season, I will admit the nite I was there was in the winter time of last year, it was full moon and the most beautiful nite I ever seen! The shops are so neat, the restaurants are very yummy and different, and I just love the atmosphere in general. Comment: While I can appreciate the importance of the message behind the "Planet Earth" section, I find that it's presence on this site is quite unusual and unrelated. Futhermore, if you're going to put something like this up, it would be nice if you were to perhaps put in something related to what you can do to help or change things. For instance, since the slant is so obviously towards population control, why not provide information about what people can do, and perhaps include a link to someone who is working in that area, such as Planned Parenthood? Finally, I found the pictures called "Bucks County" in that section to be... out of place? What is the relevance of the pictures of people standing outside K-Mart? And were the people pictured informed that their faces would be posted among such subjects as "Human Species at it's worst" and Oil spills?
