Comment: While I love the web-site, it just doesn't do the village justice. My wife & two daughters moved here less than three months ago. We relocated from upstate NY and looked here on a recommendation from a friend who lived in Yardley, and we absolutely love it here. The shops are great, the restaurants are wonderful, the schools are excellent, and the village has an appeal that you can't find anymore. I hope my carrer doesn't move me anymore, because this is a town that we could retire in!!

Love the site, wish to be of service to town council - I currently work with local governments at the State level - also do alternative dispute resolution, sounds like they could utilize this. Messages to others who have signed the guest book. To Steve from Columbus, Move here! (you'll love it, and its a heck of a lot closer to the ocean than Columbus). To Mary from Cleveland - the Lambertville Station across the bridge (New Hope's sister town) could probably do small conferences. To Tom - best closest airport is PHL (Philly) To Mary Ann from Bethlehem. If you went to a dirty bathroom somewhere on Route 29, you were in NEW JERSEY, not New Hope. Comment: your news events and the Yenta have hit the Jersey papers. Much critisms is given towards your council members, but never mention of how devoted their time is to your community. These council people put many hours into their personal jobs, businesses, and into the history of New Hope -- not to mention endless hours of serving their community. How much time does the residence of New Hope put into helping or voicing their concerns to their council in times such as the police audit or other interests? We as a community are quick to voice, judge, but do all those voices actually get out there and vote and make contact with their Council? You have a beautiful town and your community should pulled together, not just in voice amongst each other, but in voice to your council and get involved. I think your council is making some great progress. Grant you, some members may need to be re-evaluated, but I think your newest members are the achievors and doers here.
