Happy Birthday!!!

It was my birthday on the 4th and all of my friends from school embarrassed me sooo bad! They made me a birthday announcement (where a bunch of people wish you a happy birthday over the morning announcements) I was kinda expecting that but then at the end of announcements they usually say "Have a great Day", That day they said "Have a great day and Happy Birthday Sophie". I was sooooooooo embarrassed. They did it because I am on the announcement team and so are a lot of my friends are too and my friend Christine decided
that she really really wanted to embarrass me. Thanks Chris!

Sorry this column is late but in April my grandfather died. He, being the first close relative that died I was devastated! My mother, his daughter, flew out from California and I got to see her and my little brother for a while. I also got to see all my uncles and cousins but the cloud of death was hanging over our head the whole time. Everybody was laughing and crying at the same time remembering him. My poppy was someone
that you could always talk to no matter what, he would give you the shirt
off of his back if u needed it. My mother and I were the only one who had the courage to sleep in his room that night. When I climbed into the huge bed I just felt soo sad and abandoned. At the funeral our Father said that he was going to ask a lot of questions when he gets to heaven and I hope that he got them all answered.
