Young Voices: Sophie's Column 07/02

July 2002

I can’t wait, In Aug - 3 of my friends and I are all going to North Carolina. It’s going to be sooo much fun! We have this giant beach house and we’re going at the end of August. I’m soooo excited. It’s a place called the Outer Banks. I’ve never been there but my Uncle and Cousin live there. It’s such a long ride though. I’m going with my neighbor’s family and they said it’s like 8 or 9 hours!!! I can’t sit for that long!

I’m going to visit my 2 little brothers in Whitehouse, NJ this weekend. They are getting so big. I still remember when my mom called to tell me that I had a baby brother, and that was when I was like 5. Now I have 2 brothers. Kacy is almost 2 already! He’s sooo adorable.

I got a new puppy! He’s all black and he looks like a little bear cub so naturally I named him Bear. I love him! He’s such a cutie. He waddles like a little duck! He’s in this lanky stage now. He has a little tiny and big long skinny legs with giant feet at the end. Bear even trips over his own feet.
