This is my column on what's new or trendy in my school. I'll have news, outlooks and links. Once a month i will be updating my column.

Yesss! School is almost out! Everyone at my school is excited! Our school is so dirty. The other day it was lunch and I usually go to the bathroom after lunch, before 3rd period so I don't have to go during class. So I left lunch early and went to one of the 3 bathrooms in our school and 2 of them were closed! So the last one I tried reeked of cigarette smoke. It was horrible. So, after that I smelled like smoke, ewww!
I just got back from visiting my Uncle Matt in Chicago. It was a lot of fun.
We went shopping and to the museum. It was for both of our birthdays since they are both in April. We went to see that Rob Zombie movie. It was so scary. It wasn't even as scary as i thought, it was totally messed up. Everything about it was just so weird.
All my friends and I are studying for finals. We decided it would be easier
to study then cram (good choice). But most our teachers wanted to do a final project in addition to a final test. That means 10 times more work for us. So not only are we studying, but now we have to spend all of our time
researching and creating power points. What possesses teachers to do that?
My friends Liz and Christine and I all decided to take tennis lessons and
then join the tennis team next year. It's going to be a lot of fun but
tennis is such a weird sport. It's the only sport that you would be allowed
to wear a skirt in. I mean I played softball for 8 years and if I ever
showed up to practice in a skirt I think that they would most definitely
send me home. I wonder who ever decided to start that tradition? Strange

March 2003
Winter Track is finally over and I've settled into my new classes. I'm just
now finding out what High school is really like. I hate my Algebra class but
that's kind of inevitable. My Global class is sooo boring, and so is English. I like my Bio class though. It's pretty easy and a lot of my friends are in it. So I'm hoping the end of the year will be getting a little bit easier.
I just got my hair done by my sister. It looks great, if I do say so myself. It's auburn with bronze highlights. It's also shorter and choppy.
When I went into school all my friends were like ?wow!?. It was like my
little fifteen minutes in fame (hehe). But, I think I'm getting glasses because I'm farsighted, and I'm afraid I'll look like the little geeky girl. In a way I'm kind of looking forward to it though. First, because I want to be able to read a book when it's right in front of my face. Second, because I think I need another little change.
My aunt is pregnant with a twin boy and girl who are due in June. I'm so
excited because I can spend the summer with them since my aunt doesn't live to far away. My mother is coming out from California too. The thing is that I don't get out of school until June 17th and the babies are due June 5th. So I won't be there for my aunt, but I'm still excited and I hope my dad will let me take the day off.
My grandmother is supposed to move onto our property soon. I'm really
excited about that too. Especially because once she moves in I can hopefully get a job at a little café down the street. I'll keep you posted!
My Birthday: 1 month and counting!!!:)

Well I just got my new swimsuit. I got it early because I'm going on this
cool retreat with my friend Christine. We're going to a hotel in Allentown
and there's an indoor swimming pool. We're going on Valentine's day. I'm really excited about it. A few of my other friends from school are going
too and we're all going to stay in the same room. We all got our swimsuits
early. Mine is so cute! It's black and I kind of plain but I think it's
adorable. My sister is just graduating cosmetology school. If you didn't know, it's a school where people learn how to do hair, make-up, nails, etc. It's like a beauty school. So I'm going to have her come up and do my hair, hopefully this weekend. She highlighted it before and it looked really cute so now I'm going to get low-lights done and get it cut shorter. She's going to be so sick of me, so quickly now (hehe).
It's kind of sad that I have to change my classes because next semester I
have B lunch instead of C lunch and I like my C lunch. I have it with most
of my friends and we have such a good time. We have food fights all the time now! The table in front of us threw broccoli at us so we popped all of our ice tea bottle caps at them. It was so funny. Then at the end of the period this kid named Mike, how should I say this, lost his cookies all over the table. Gross!
By the way, I just saw the movie "Just Married". It was sooo funny. Ashton is adorible and Brittney plays her part really well.
